Big feelings are welcome here.
Color Me Green is a child & family therapy practice in Frisco, Texas. Through play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and family systems therapy, I help children, teens, and families find the words for what they feel — and grow closer while they do.
Every behavior has a story.
Therapy that meets your family
right where you are
Every child and every family system is unique — so care here is intentionally curated, evidence-based, and available in-person in Frisco and/or virtually across Texas.
Therapy for Children
Play therapy is highly effective for children because play is a child’s language and toys are their words. Through play, children can express what they may not yet have the words to say — while building emotional regulation, coping skills, confidence, and connection.
Learn moreTherapy for Teens
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) provides a judgment-free space where children, adolescents, and parents explore the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors — while building practical tools to help each individual, and the family as a whole, thrive.
Learn moreTherapy for Families
Family systems therapy views the family as an interconnected system, recognizing that when one person struggles, the whole family feels it. Together we focus on strengthening relationships, communication patterns, and roles within the family to create healthier connections and lasting change.

From the families & communities we serve
“Ms. Kavina is an incredibly gifted and thorough clinician. We’ve seen significant improvements in our child’s behavior overall since beginning with her. She took her time to establish rapport and ensure a smooth transition to care. I credit her with being an impactful and necessary component of our child’s holistic wellbeing.”
“I recently attended We Summit 2026, where Kavina was a speaker. I learned so much about myself and my behavior, not really knowing how much my mental health was affected in my daily routine. Kavina is soft spoken, supportive and knowledgeable in therapy — I highly recommend her.”
“Excellent presentation for our agency during our self care series. Color Me Green Child & Family Therapy is an excellent place to receive services for a family or child. Mrs. McLeod is resourceful, passionate and knowledgeable.”
