About Me

Hi! I’m Kavina Hall-McLeod, but you can call me Kavina or Ms. K. I’m a Licensed Psychotherapist who helps children and families manage big feelings and tough moments. Every person is different so I use a mix of tools to support healing and growth.
I earned my Bachelor’s in Sociology from the University of Oregon and my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California. Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked in all kinds of settings and even contributed to research at UC Berkeley and Stanford. Each experience has shaped how I show up in sessions.
Outside of therapy, I’m a wife, mom of three (including one amazing kid with autism and ADHD), daughter, sister, and former college athlete. These roles keep me grounded and give me a real understanding of how messy and beautiful life can be.
I’m passionate about helping kids, teens, and families navigate challenges and build lasting connection, balance, and hope. My approach is collaborative, and together we’ll make meaningful progress, one session at a time
