I’m Kavina McLeod LCSW-S
Therapist, supervisor, speaker — and to the kids in my playroom, simply Ms. K. For over 15 years I’ve helped children and families navigate complex emotions, strengthen relationships, and move through life’s hardest moments with greater confidence and resilience.
I recognize that each individual and family system is unique, so I draw from a curated blend of evidence-based therapeutic approaches — play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and family systems therapy — to support meaningful, lasting growth.
Beyond my professional training, I’m a wife, mother of three (including a neurodivergent child), daughter, sister, friend, and former scholarship collegiate athlete. These roles bring a grounded, real-life understanding of resilience, balance, and the many layers that shape family life.
